The MOE Bipod is the newest, lightest and strongest bipod in the Magpul bipod range. The total weight is about 8 ounces, which is nearly 40% lighter than some of our existing bipods. Despite the reduced weight, they don't let you down when it comes to strength and reliability; our injection-molded proprietary polymer legs won't deform or break under pressure, providing a stable platform from which to shoot, shot after shot Take a shot.
Designed to mount on the popular Uncle Mike's Gun Belt Swing Stake, the MOE Bipod is quick and easy to install and remove thanks to its quick-fit snap-on gun sling swing stake mounting system. The self-positioning stainless steel hook and loop ensures perfect alignment during installation, and the large ergonomic thumbwheel provides a secure hold and easy tightening. Non-damaging rubber bushings fit securely on most forends, providing ideal load distribution without leaving marks on the frame. Adding an optional low-profile sling swing post behind the frame in the mounting position retains the functionality of mounting the sling to the forend.
The MOE bipod is only 1.73 inches tall when folded, keeping its profile simple and hidden until you need it. The legs fold neatly forward without buttons or levers and quickly lock into position with the push of a button. The leg length is adjustable from 7 to 10 inches and easily slides and locks on seven locking grooves spaced 1/2 inch apart. Additionally, its staggered soft rubber feet provide a secure hold on a variety of shooting surfaces. If the user chooses to replace the feet, they are also easily removable with a roller liner punch, and the legs accept most Atlas model bipod interchangeable feet.
