FAST Micro S Optical Mirror Booster Mount

FAST is a series of bases and platforms for optical sighting devices that provide users with a faster aiming picture than standard height bases. The 2.26-inch optical centerline height provides faster and easier acquisition of the crosshair field of view. It is suitable for wearing electronic earmuffs/communication helmets, night vision goggles and gas masks, helping to process visual information on the battlefield more quickly and improving head visibility. Lifted posture. The head-up position also helps the user maintain a neutral spine position, making them more comfortable when wearing helmets, anti-ballistic plate carriers and other heavy equipment.

The FAST™ Micro-S mount places Aimpoint CompM5s, CompM5b, and Duty RDS scopes at a 2.26-inch optical centerline above the weapon rail. This position makes these optics fully compatible with our patented Flip-To-Center magnifier mount and provides the same application benefits as a traditional FAST mount.

The FAST™ Micro-S base comes with a standard rail clamp but is designed to accept the plug-in American Defense Manufacturing® QD Auto-Lock™ (sold separately). This mounting option will provide quick release capability. Unity's proprietary nuts must be used to prevent damage to the mounting interface.
