Arisaka's patented straight Scout M-LOK mount is designed for fixtures using the Scout-style platform. It replaces the original M1913 rail adapter with a low-profile M-Lok handguard mount. This mount is particularly useful for handguards with a 45-degree angled mounting surface, such as BCM MCMR, Geissele Automatics SMR MK4, MK8 and MK16, Daniel Defense MFR, KAC URX4, ALG Defense EMR, MI Gen 3, Mega MML and Mega/Hodge Wedge Lock et al.
When mounted on a surface at a 45-degree angle, the straight Scout M-LOK mount allows the user to move the light closer or further away from the 12 o'clock top rail to make room for a front sight or other accessories. Three positions are provided, allowing for an offset of 0.12 inches to either side of center. The Surefire Scout Light's base is only 0.2 inches above the mounting surface.
Installation Tip: In order to minimize the overall length of the base, it is necessary to remove the tail cap of the fixture to allow access to the frontmost screw installation.
This mount is not suitable for cantilever mounting on the end of the handguard. Doing so may result in direct damage to the mount if the fixture receives a heavy blow.
For mounting positions on handguards with a 45-degree flat surface, front sight compatibility varies based on:
1. Upper left 45-degree plane: Suitable for most sights, including MBUS Pro, Knight's Armament Micro, Troy folding sights and Diamondhead. MBUS Gen II is also available if the position is adjusted to allow for release clearance.
2. Upper right 45 degree plane: Due to the asymmetrical body of the Surefire Scout Light, the positioning of the front sight and light is more critical in this setup. Smaller sights like the MBUS Pro and Knight's Armament Micro will work, but the Troy, Diamondhead, and MBUS Gen II won't clear the area where the main body's screw holes are. This means one of them has to be moved forward/backward to get the proper clearance. Another option is to use Arisaka 300 Series fixture bodies or 600 Series fixture bodies, which will allow for adequate clearance.
Compatible with Modlite 183560 and 18650 fixture bodies/lamps, Surefire M300A, M300B, M300C, M600B, M600C, M600P, M600U, M600V, M600DF, Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2 and HL-X, and Arisaka 300 and 600 series. The Streamlight Protac Rail Mount HL-X requires a shortened 1/8-inch Allen key to tighten the front mounting screws. You can modify your own tools or add them to the straight Scout M-LOK mount.

This seat is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard anodized. Includes necessary screws to secure the fixture body to the mount. Tools required for installation are 1/8" and 5/64" Allen keys (not included). Cerakote coating provided by Weapon Works LLC. Products are made in the USA.
