Lithium CR123 batteries are not supported and will cause the battery to overheat and may explode or cause fire if used. We recommend using Modlite protected batteries.
This light set includes a PLHv2 light head, 18650 handheld body/tail cap and color-matched Thrym LPC. It also includes a Modlite 3500mAh 18650 battery and an XTAR MC2 charger. Although the lumen output of this lamp is similar to the Surefire® M600DF lamp head, its throw distance is more than three times that of the M600DF, making it more suitable for use in PID, that is, positive identification. This lamp is a greater improvement than the PLHv1 lamp head. The lumen output is roughly the same, but the throw distance is greatly improved. It is the best balance of flood light and throw distance.
