FAST Micro Optical Mirror Booster Mount

FAST is a series of bases and platforms for optical sighting devices that provide users with a faster aiming picture than standard height bases. The 2.26-inch optical centerline height provides faster and easier acquisition of the crosshair field of view. It is suitable for wearing electronic earmuffs/communication helmets, night vision goggles and gas masks, helping to process visual information on the battlefield more quickly and improving head visibility. Lifted posture. The head-up position also helps the user maintain a neutral spine position, making them more comfortable when wearing helmets, anti-ballistic plate carriers and other heavy equipment.

The FAST Micro mount features built-in standard-height backup iron sights, keeping the weapon's appearance streamlined without compromising its performance. Both the front and rear iron sights are fully adjustable for windage and elevation. The front sight is removable so that the rear backup iron sight aperture can be used with a traditional front sight to create a more traditional crosshair radius. However, the built-in front/rear backup iron sights are very suitable for backup on ultra-short PDW/SMG platforms, where the track space is crucial for mounting weapon lights and lasers.

Designed for use with Aimpoint® Micro (H1, H2, T1, T2, CompM5) and other optical sighting devices with Aimpoint® Micro mounts, such as those found on many Sig Sauer®, Holosun®, Primary Arms® and Vortex Optics® platforms . NOTE: Not available for Aimpoint Comp M5S or M5B.

The FAST Micro mount comes with a standard rail clamp mount, but is designed to easily accept the patented American Defense Manufacturing® QD Auto-Lock (sold separately). This mounting option will provide quick release capabilities.

The FAST Micro base is constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard anodized finish in black or FDE sand color.
