FAST™ is a line of optical mounts and platforms that provide end users with a faster aiming experience than standard height mounts. Optical centerline height of 2.26 inches enables faster and easier sighting guide acquisition when wearing electronic ear protection, communications headsets, night vision devices and protective masks and promotes a look-up posture for faster battlefield visual processing. The upward-looking position also helps users maintain a neutral spinal posture, which is more comfortable when wearing helmets, protective gear, and other heavy gear.
The FAST™ Absolute Riser safely raises an absolute line-of-sight red dot sighting optic to an optical centerline of 2.26 inches. The FAST™ Absolute Riser offers an enhanced M1913 Picatinny platform for direct connection to optics such as EOTech® XPS®, Leupold® LCO® and other absolute line-of-sight optics.
If you are using a "lower 1/3 eye level" optic, you will need the FAST™ Optic Riser.
The FAST™ Absolute Riser comes standard with a rail clamp and is compatible with our ADM QD handle kit (sold separately). The FAST™ Absolute Riser is constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum, Type III hard anodized, and available in black or sand (FDE*) finish.
*NOTE* In our catalog, "FDE" is used to refer to a range of colors including browns, bronzes, earth tones. Due to the chemical changes that occur during the Type III hard anodizing process, the final surface finish may vary from part to part (even parts from the same batch). Therefore, your "FDE" product may differ from other parts from UNITY and other companies, and may differ from the photos shown online.
