The C35 is built around the unique, customizable DAKA GRID mounting plate, designed to comfortably accommodate shorter rifles and the additional gun gear needed to operate with them. Compared to traditional foam padding, DAKA GRID does not collect moisture, dust or other contaminants. It is lighter, more flexible and significantly stronger than traditional foam, providing greater tissue flexibility and protection. DAKA GRID consists of independent expanded polypropylene ( EPP ) end panels, mid-panels and DAKA Blocks that securely nest together to create an advanced insertion system that keeps your gear compartmentalized. DAKA Blocks easily slot into GRID panels and are equally easy to remove and reinstall to suit any gear you carry. The C35 includes 8 three-unit Blocks and 8 two-unit Blocks to arrange and secure your equipment configuration. Additional Blocks can be purchased if necessary. If you're carrying wider or taller gear, such as lights, bipods, or lasers, the middle GRID board can also be cut to a smaller size or removed to free up space for 4.25- inch-wide items, as long as the other boards The upper ends support the firearm. The latch hook design and greater cabinet rigidity make the latch hook easy to use and durable. Each latch hook features a large, easy-to-operate button for one-handed operation. When pressed, the latch opens and remains in the open position, where it can be used as a handle to open the lid. Apply downward pressure from anywhere on the latch body to close, with a clear "click" sound when locked. The innovative latch design also features a redesigned latch locking system. Each latch hook on the DAKA Hard Case contains a locking channel ( a hole that connects the lid to the case ) . Once the lock is installed (we recommend using a 5/16 " thick latch and a 1-1.5 " interior gap), the latch hook cannot open until the lock is removed, which protects the entire case. In addition, each latch hook is equipped with a lock base and a zipper tie channel, which allows users to secure the lock to the case, protecting the lock and case from damage caused by impact. The Hard Case also includes four magic felt drawstrings for this purpose.

Stacking tabs provide the front interface for DAKA Hard Cases when stacked on top of each other, and two built-in strap grooves keep the tension straps in place during use. There are two large main handles for easy maneuverability under load, and a third integrated handle close to the wheels, making the box easier to move and allowing the box to stand vertically independently. The cross-section of the handle adopts the Magpul pistol grip model for greater comfort and control, and is fully embedded in the box frame. They are designed to stay open when extended and closed when not in use. The wheels are designed to be smooth and durable, with ball bearings, rubber coating and reinforced polymer wheel shells reducing noise, friction and debris ingress.
