The patent-pending Arisaka Side Scout Mount (SSM) is designed for Surefire Scout Lights, Modlite PLH and OKW weapon lights, Arisaka 300, 600 and 18650 Series, and Streamlight Protac Rail Mount lights. It replaces the original Picatinny rail adapter and uses a low-profile mount to mount the fixture underneath either side of the ATPIAL laser/illuminator range, including ATPIAL-C, AN/PEQ15 and LA-5/PEQ. This will also allow the fixture to bypass the QD levers of NGAL and Steiner DBAL I2, A3 and D2.
Compatible fixtures include Modlite PLH, PLHv2 and OKW, Surefire M300A, M300B, M300C, M300V, M312, M322, M312V, M313V, M322V, M600B, M600C, M600P, M600U, M600V, M600DF, M612, M622, M 603V, M612V , M622V, Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2 and HL-X (non-laser version), CD REIN, and Arisaka 300, 600 and 18650 series.

This mount is CNC machined from 7075-T651 and 6061-T651 aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard anodized. Contains necessary screws to secure the fixture body to the base. Tools required for installation are IP27 and IP20 TorxPlus wrenches (not included). A T9 Torx wrench is required to remove the original Picatinny mount from the Surefire Scout Lights. Recommended torque: 20 inch-pounds for the fixture body and 30 inch-pounds for the clamping screws (use low/medium strength threadlocker Loctite 222 or 243).
Accessories: One 10-32x1.25" Torx cap head screw, two 8-32x3/8" Torx flat head screws.
