4.5-inch dual-connector remote control switch (Surefire®/Crane Laser)

ModButton Lite is a smaller, lighter version of the original ModButton. ModButton Lite switches have the same moment-on functionality as the original ModButton. It also has the same high-power cable and switch as the ModButton, but in a slightly smaller package and without an integrated mount.

ModButton Lite uses a patented Unity Tactical design to support the power delivery required for next-generation high-output weapon lights such as Modlite. Unity's built-in Surefire® compatible cable routing makes ModButton Lite backwards compatible with all Surefire®, Arisaka and Modlite Scout bodies, as well as Surefire UE and DS00 tailcaps. If continuous opening is required, we recommend using the SF DS00 tail cap, which can be found here .

One problem currently is that older, conventional switches are unable to carry the current required by current or later generations of lights. These older switch designs do not allow Modlite lamp heads to operate at full power. Typically, these switches reduce output by 15-20%. ModButton Lite features an updated plug design along with improved electronics that allow ModButton Lite to output at full power, so all lumens and candelas are fully utilized.

ModButton Lite's laser plug is only compatible with PEQ15, DBAL, BE Meyers® MAWL™ and Wilcox® RAIDx™ lasers.

Modbutton Lite's dual leads feature both Surefire®/Modlite and Crane Laser leads. This Modbutton Lite activates two leads simultaneously, enabling excellent visible light coverage of white light and visible lasers. Unable to select a single device for startup. The LINK™ version is compatible with UNITY's LINK™ system and GASCAP™ USB-C Tailcap .

The kit includes the switch PIC mounting rail and mounting hardware, but does not provide the tail cap. We recommend Surefire UE or DS00 tail caps . Additionally, adapters for MLOK rails are available here.
