The Expander Wing Mk-2 was built as a direct replacement for the original Spiritus Systems wing set, with a primary focus on enhancing functionality for modern Plate Carriers like the LV-120 and LV-119. It provides a secure, low-profile solution for carrying mission-essential gear such as radios and additional magazines.

1. Fully Reversible Design: Unlike its predecessor, the Mk-2 can be used on either the left or right side of the torso. This allows for total configuration flexibility without needing side-specific pouches.
2. Seamless Hardware Integration: Designed with a TUBES™ bar pass-through, allowing the wing to work perfectly with quick-release cummerbunds. You can don and doff your carrier without the need to remove the expander wing.
3. Stability Over Gravity: When used with a chest rig, the Mk-2 utilizes a unique "loop over" design that attaches to the Fat Straps, preventing sag even with heavy loads like a PRC-152 radio.
