The Griffin Armament M4SD Linear Comp is Griffin Armament's only flash hat without side vents, thus reducing the impact of side drafts on those next to the shooter's position. It has three air holes above for caliber neutrality and a de Laval nozzle1 at the front to project a linear flow of pressure to the distal end. The Airsoft version has been designed to be compatible with any A2-compatible fire hat installation, including the PTS Griffin Armament M4SD fire hat. ¹
