About EPM1

PTS® Enhanced Polymer Magazine ONE (or EPM1) is the most advanced and highest-capacity spring-loaded AEG magazine ever produced. This magazine, simply called EPM1, was a first in many ways:

1. EPM1 is the first collaborative development between PTS and Odin Innovations: EPM1 is the result of the first collaborative development between PTS and Odin Innovations, combining the expertise of both companies to create a superior magazine.
2.EPM1 is the first spring-loaded AEG magazine that is comparable to high-capacity magazines, with a capacity of approximately 250 BB rounds.
3. The EPM1 is the first AEG magazine to feature a visual “inventory” window that indicates the fullness of the ammunition or the amount of ammunition remaining.

Externally, the EPM1 also gets significant updates. Like the original EPM and all PTS polymer products, the EPM1's outer shell is constructed from Dupont Zytel® polymer, making it extremely durable and strong. Another feature that has been retained is the magazine rail design, which reduces snag when removing or inserting from a bag or rifle. Our unique EP texture has been applied to the casing to provide a textured front side of the magazine for better grip and feel. In order to better increase the grip feel, textures are provided along the sides of the magazine, which also allows the EPM1 to be used with the Magpul Maglink® Coupler device.

The EPM1’s magazine floor has also been completely redesigned. The slide-in design makes the magazine floor more durable and more resistant to falling or falling out if the magazine is dropped. It is also noticeably thinner and lighter than the first-generation EPM, so the magazine requires less space than before when loaded into a magazine pouch or stacked for storage. The magazine base is beveled to serve as a monopod when supporting fire, and as always, a marking matrix is ​​embedded in the magazine base for magazine identification. When removing the magazine from the magazine bag, the raised edge on the bottom of the magazine will provide correct guidance. This raised design has been integrated into the main body of the EMP1.

The new enhanced magazine top slug is the result of our partnership with Deranged Designs. The improved top bullet concentrates the pressure of the spring in the direction in which the BB bullets are stacked, instead of exerting pressure from the side of the BB bullets, and will not push the pressure toward the inner wall of the magazine, causing crowding.

The most important and innovative external feature of the EPM1 is the design of the visual inventory window. With the new and unique orange bullet level indicator, you can immediately know whether the BB bullets in the current magazine are completely full, how much is left, or whether they have been completely used up. When the magazine is full of BB bullets, the orange bullet level indicator will be at the top edge of the window. Similarly, when all BB bullets are fired, the orange bullet level indicator will be at the bottom edge of the window. Indicates that the magazine is empty.
