This gunlight package includes the PLHv2 head, 18350 handheld body/tail cap, and color-matched Thrym LPC. It also includes a Modlite 1200mAh 18350 battery and XTAR MC2 charger. Before use, please be sure to take out the battery pre-installed in the flashlight, tear off the green power-blocking sticker, and put it back before use.
Although the lumen output of this lamp is similar to the Surefire® M600DF lamp head, the throw distance is approximately three times greater than the M600DF, making it more suitable for PID (frontal identification) at longer distances. This light is a big improvement over the PLHv1 light. Lumen output is about the same, but throw distance is vastly improved. It is the best balanced gun light for open lumen and throw distance.
Note: Lithium CR123 batteries are not supported and will cause the battery to become hot and may explode or catch fire if used. We recommend using Modlite protected batteries.
