The MOE® Rifle Stock (Magpul Original Equipment) is designed as a direct drop-in replacement for AR15/M16 A1 and A2 rifle stocks utilizing the standard rifle-length receiver extension (buffer tube). It offers fundamental enhancements in ergonomics, functionality, and storage over legacy designs.
Key Features and Functional Upgrades:
- Enhanced Ergonomics:
- Sloping Cheek Weld: Features a sloping cheek weld that combines a slim profile for maneuverability with user comfort for prolonged shooting.
- Anti-Slip Butt-Pad: Equipped with a replaceable, rubberized anti-slip butt-pad that ensures positive shoulder purchase to prevent slippage and improve stability.
- Internal Storage:
- Large Compartment: Includes a large storage compartment in the tail of the stock, easily accessible behind the hinged butt-plate, ideal for storing essential batteries or small tools.
- Versatile Sling Mounting:
- Integral Sling Loop: Features an integral 1.25” sling loop at the bottom rear.
- Optional QD Sockets: Knockout bosses on the sides allow for the addition of optional dual-side front and rear QD mounting points (fitting up to 1.5” push-button swivels).
- Simple Installation and Customization:
- Easy Mounting: Mounts directly to the rifle-length receiver extension tube without the A2 spacer (spacer not included).
- Accessory Rail Ready: Knockout bosses on the bottom allow for the optional addition of an accessory rail.
