MBUS (Magpul Back-Up Sight) is a low-cost, color-injected, folding backup sight. The MBUS front sight is height adjustable and fits most 1913 Picatinny rail handguards, but is specifically customized for the AR15/M16 platform.

*Impact-resistant polymer construction provides lightweight and resists handling abuse
*Spring-loaded flip-up sights easy to activate from either side or through the top
*Locating knob and spring pressure hold the sight upright but allow for unimpeded folding in the event of impact, etc.
*Clamp clamps to most MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny/STANAG 4694 rail handguards and provides the same height as standard A2 fittings
*Protective tab protects spring-locked A2 front sight post
*Height adjustment tool included, but most commercially available A2 front sight adjustment tools will also work

*Note: Unable to install on railed gas blocks due to excessive thermal issues. The front MBUS must be mounted on the front of the rail on the same plane as the receiver rail. Therefore, this sight is also not compatible with MOE handguards.
