The 3" Assault Cummerbund is a semi-rigid belt made of laser-cut thermoplastic material that can increase the user's stability and weight distribution. The 3AC has a hidden elastic part that automatically adjusts to the body during activity to improve comfort. .Using male Velcro on the inside of the girdle, it can be worn over any carrier that has female Velcro on the front and rear panel pockets. Its rigid design allows for the use of side ballistic panels without the sagging that is common with other waistband designs. 3" height reduces unnecessary bulk and accommodates any bag with MOLLE/PALS mounting system.
