The hard anodized 6061 T-6 aluminum and injection molded polymer bipod combines innovations in ergonomics, functionality, strength and value. Its low-profile design hides its internal mechanisms and hardware, smoothly brushing away snags and bumps. Optimized for quick one-handed adjustment, the bipod transitions between user configurations quickly and quietly.
In the firing position, it can be easily loaded with stable forward tension without fear of failure or deformation. Its aluminum and stainless steel components and its injection-molded reinforced polymer ensure years of dependable performance and reliability while reducing weight. It's very lightweight, weighing just over 11 ounces.
The leg extender slides and locks securely with the push of a button on seven half-inch spaced locking grooves. The legs can extend four inches, from 6.3 to 10.3. The industry-exclusive 50 degrees of total tilt is controlled by a glove-friendly toothed tool located on the bipod between the extended legs. When folded, the streamlined housing and legs fit neatly under the barrel, with a depth of just 2.3 inches and a width of 3.3 inches. Anodized surfaces and tight precision tolerances reduce squeaks and buzz.

Knobs with soft rubber bipod locking knob caps provide stable, non-marking forward support when the bipod is folded. Additionally, its staggered, soft rubber feet hold securely to a variety of shooting surfaces and can be easily removed using a rolling pin punch. Should the user choose to replace the feet, the Magpul Bipod accepts most Atlas model bipods with interchangeable feet, excluding the Atlas 5-H model.
