Vickers 221 quick-adjust two-point QD quick-release shoulder pad gun sling
While a two-point sling is ideal in most situations, there are certain situations, such as when exiting a vehicle or operating in complex structures, where a single-point sling is advantageous. Combining our new polymer Burnsed Socket and patented RED™ swivel, the Vickers 221 sling allows the user to instantly go from dual point to position by pulling the RED™ swivel knob and reinserting it into the rear receiver's Burnsed Socket. The mode switches to single point mode. The sling still maintains instant and convenient adjustability in both single-point and dual-point modes.
Quick Adjusters – High contrast easy-to-reach adjuster tabs
Quickly and comfortably converting a slung rifle to combat-ready status, the Quick Adjuster bridges the gap between the two primary uses of a gun sling, from carry to combat. All Vickers padded nylon gun slings are precision manufactured in the USA from high quality materials.
Mounting Hardware: RED™ Swivel Socket or Push Button
The construction of the Vickers Combat Applications Sling™ is similar to the world standard, with a RED™ swivel socket sewn into the front of the sling near the muzzle. A standard push-button swivel mount and new plastic Burnsed Socket are woven into the rear, allowing the sling to be fully adjusted in any condition.
The 221 sling will fit any weapon with two QD swivel mounts, with the rear swivel mount near the end of the receiver. For SCARS, Sigs, HK, or other weapon systems with an eyelet behind the receiver, a sling buckle with a push button socket can be added instead of using an additional push button socket.
Construction of regulators and accessories
Nylon Hardware: The new nylon hardware version features newly designed DuPont Zytel® nylon, which is lighter, stronger and more flexible than traditional plastic sling hardware. Most BFG slings sent to the U.S. military are made with special DuPont Zytel® nylon hardware.
